Lead Generation for Med Spas That Counts Consults

For a med spa, lead generation means one thing: a booked consult with someone who lives or works near you. A click is not a lead. A form fill with a wrong number is not a lead. We are a marketing agency, and we build your own channels. We do not sell leads, and we do not resell anyone else's.

A lead is someone on your calendar

Treatment rooms and injector hours are fixed. You cannot serve a flood of people on a Saturday, and you would not want a pile of enquiries from a city two hours away. What a medical spa needs is a steady flow of the right consults, spread across the week, ideally leading to a treatment plan and a rebooking.

So the numbers we care about are booked consults, show rate, and how many first-time guests come back. Calls and form fills are signs along the way. They are not the destination. If a month shows a lot of traffic and few bookings, the useful question is where the path leaked, and the answer is usually a slow reply or a clumsy booking page.

One more point of honesty. Nobody can promise a number of leads, calls or bookings, and we do not. What we can promise is the work, the tracking and the reporting.

Where consult bookings come from

Most med spas draw on several sources at once. Each has its own strengths and its own blind spots.
SourceWhere it earns its placeWhat it is poor at
Search on GoogleCatching people typing a treatment or 'med spa near me' with intent to bookReaching people who have not yet thought about a treatment
Maps, reviews and your listingShowing the location, hours, photos and reviews at the moment of choiceExplaining the details of a treatment plan
Google Ads and Bing Ads (Microsoft Advertising)Filling slow weekdays or launching a new service quicklyStaying power. They stop when the budget does
Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)Introducing the space, an event or an open house to people nearbyReaching someone who is searching right now
Referral partnersSalons, wedding vendors, gyms and studios sending people who already trust themPredictable volume. Each partner is a relationship
Memberships, packages and rebookingTurning a first visit into a regular calendar slotFinding strangers. It is a retention source, not an acquisition one
Email and text to your own listFilling gaps, announcing seasonal offers and reminding membersAnything if the list is small or stale

What a good enquiry looks like

We help you tell the difference between a lead that can become a guest and one that cannot.
  • Near enough to visit

    It is local

Guests travel to you. A person three towns away who will never arrive is not a lead, however polite the email.

  • On your menu

    It names a real service

A request about laser hair removal, neuromodulators or microneedling that you actually offer. Hair botox, at-home devices and job enquiries are not leads, and we keep them out of ad campaigns with negative keywords.

  • A working number

    It can be reached

A phone number or email that works, collected with a form that asks for contact details only. Never health details on a public form.

  • A calendar slot

    It books a consult

The outcome we count is a booked consult or a first-time guest booking, not the form submission.

  • Owned channels

It does not come from a shared pool

A lead sold to several businesses is a bidding war with your own name on it. We build channels that belong to you instead. Our Google Maps work is a good example.

The missed call at 6:15 pm

The most common leak in a med spa funnel is not marketing at all. It is a phone that rings at the end of the day while the last guest is in the chair and the front desk is cleaning up. The caller waits, tries the next business on the map, and books there.

Speed matters because the person is deciding right now. We set up call tracking so you can see which calls come from which source, and a missed-call text-back that sends a short message: thanks for calling, here is the booking link, the team will return your call on the next business day. It contains no health details and asks for none.

The same goes for messages. The 11 pm Instagram DM, the web form filled in on a Sunday, the voicemail left over a lunch break all deserve a reply inside a day, and ideally inside an hour during opening hours.

How we build lead generation, in order

  1. Track first

Before any marketing, we set up call tracking, form tracking and booking tracking so every consult has a source. If you already have booking software, we connect to it.

  2. Fix the booking path

Count the taps from the page to a confirmed booking on a phone. If it takes more than four, we shorten it. A clear first-time guest path and a separate member path help both.

  3. Set up the owned channels

Google Business Profile, treatment pages that match what people search, listings that agree, and reviews collected the proper way. This is the base. See med spa SEO.

  4. Add paid where it earns its place

A small test of Google Ads split by treatment, and sometimes Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) for an event or an open house. Budget is set by what the team can staff.

  5. Open partner channels

A short list of salons, wedding vendors, gyms and studios nearby, an outreach note, and a simple way to say thank you that does not break any rule.

  6. Review weekly, report monthly

Booked consults, show rate and rebooking, by source. We drop what is not working and keep what is.

What a lead form may and may not ask

A public form is not a medical intake. Keep it short and keep it plain.
  • First name and a phone number or email, so someone can call back.
  • A preferred day or time of day, as a general option and not a specific appointment.
  • A general interest drop-down such as consult, laser or injectables, using your own menu names.
  • No questions about a person's skin, health, medications, history or concerns.
  • No free-text box that invites someone to write their health details.
  • A short note under the form saying not to include health information.
  • A consent line for text messages if you plan to send them, worded by your counsel.
  • A thank-you page that says what happens next and when, with nothing clinical on it.

Intake paperwork happens privately, after booking, through the system your own counsel approves. We do not collect or handle health information.

Why we do not sell leads or lean on group deals

Lead brokers and group-deal sites promise a quick flood. The trouble is the shape of it. The people arriving are shopping on price and may never return, the discount trains your regular guests to wait, and the platform owns the relationship. A treatment room filled by a deal is one a member cannot use.

We would rather build channels you own: your site, your profile, your list, your partners. They compound. They are also yours if you ever leave us, which is the point of month to month with no contract.

Advertising adds another layer of care. Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) limit health and wellness advertising, including before and after imagery, claims about a person's body, personal-attribute targeting and some prescription product wording. Policies change, so the owner and we check the current text before building anything, and an ad account can be limited or suspended. Rules about who may perform treatments and what ads must disclose differ by state, so check yours with your state board and counsel. Nothing here is legal advice.

Questions about med spa lead generation

Are leads something you resell?

No. We build and run your own channels: search, Maps, ads under your accounts and partner outreach. Every enquiry comes through something you own, and we never resell contacts.

Can you promise a number of calls or bookings?

No one honest can. We promise to set up the work, track every source and report booked consults each month, including the weak months.

What do you count as a lead?

A booked consult or a first-time guest booking with someone near you. Calls and forms are tracked as steps, but they are not the number we report as the result.

Do you collect health information on forms?

Never. Public forms ask for contact details and a general interest only. Intake paperwork belongs to your practice and your own privacy counsel.

How fast should we reply to an enquiry?

As quickly as your team can manage inside opening hours, and within a day otherwise. A missed-call text-back covers the gaps and sends the booking link.

Is this the same as paid ads?

No. Paid ads are one source among several. Our paid ads management is a separate plan, and many practices start with the owned channels first.

Where are the prices?

On the pricing page. Billing is monthly, with nothing to sign and nothing due up front, and ad spend is paid straight to the platform.
